Make a simple camera case in 5 easy steps and 15 mins!

You can make a cute camera case like this in 5 easy steps and just 15 mins!

The following measurements fit a simple small camera, measuring approx 9.5cm x 6cm x 2.5cm
One that fits in the palm of your hand:

First choose 2 materials you want  - one for the outer fabric, and one for the lining. You will also need a 5cm strip of sew-in velcro. Are you ready?

Step 1.

Cut 1 piece of each fabric 30cm x 10cm

Step 2.

Pin your velcro pieces.
One on the inner fabric, centrally placed and 1cm from the top.
One on the outer fabric, centrally placed and 3cm from the top.
Then fold the inner fabric right sides together so the folded part is 11cm long.
Pin the sides and stitch where you have pinned.

Step 3.

Fold the outer fabric right sides together
(with the velcro on the folded part) -
so it's the same size as your inner.  Pin and stitch.

Step 4.

Turn the outer fabric right sides out, then insert the inner piece inside.

Step 5.
Fold the edges of the inner and outer fabric inwards, and pin together all around, then top stitch as close to the edge as you can.
The corners can be folded like this:

And there you have a cute little camera case:

Hope you found that tutorial easy to follow!

I had to make a 'his' and 'hers' version, for when my husband takes the camera out!
