It is so good to read your success and how you took charge of what worked for you.

Something similar happened to me this past 2 1/2 months - I just stopped eating sugar things and bread type food. I seemed to have 'lost' any desire to even taste those things. It just felt right. I walked faster and further and walked with the purpose of standing tall and not slouching. I weighted myself at the end of January and I was down 10 pounds. My clothes were loose, my belt was in a at the 3rd for top notch. I tried on the 'pants that were too tight' and they were almost too loose so I put away the very loose pants and moved into the next size down. Belt is now at the 1 from top notch. I t is almost the end of February and I tried on the pants that were 2" too tight to zip in early January. They fit now - and they are 'new' as in I bought them about 2 years ago and never wore them. I have a long way to go on my 'get back into a healthier body size' but I am feeling so positive about the results so far.

JoyJoy@aVintageGreenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16788328980114729976noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6561146385820548849.post-57701785929934770912019-02-19T05:51:08.783+10:002019-02-19T05:51:08.783+10:00Thank you so much for making this clear and very d...Thank you so much for making this clear and very detailed tutorial. I have made one for school, and I will be making one for camping and holding utensils in as Mhairi suggested - it is a great idea. It is also bigger than I expected, and holds my 20 stabilo fine liners with plenty of room to spare.

One thing I would suggest though, is making another plastic piece to fit in the pocket, as it helps stop the case falling over with the weight of the pens (but thats just what I found useful).

Thanks for the tutorial anyway, and I will be looking at your other posts to find more to sew!Jesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17433260725001972541noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6561146385820548849.post-14796695324875554342018-12-21T00:38:32.539+10:002018-12-21T00:38:32.539+10:00Can you please tell me how much of each fabric I n...Can you please tell me how much of each fabric I need for this project?

Thank you, DonnaAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03121524168909850720noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6561146385820548849.post-21610839268544317482018-12-17T04:30:44.854+10:002018-12-17T04:30:44.854+10:00Thank you so much for your TIC TAC TOE crosses and...Thank you so much for your TIC TAC TOE crosses and naught game tutorial. Made it with drawstring bag to hold the game in. love it. was thinking perhaps the pieced could use the loop end and the board hold the hook end of velcro for travel Tic Tac Toe or for even around the house with toddlers. I used non toxic washable fabric paint for the xs and os. trouble shooting came up with that. put batting in little 2x2 squares of denim with a drop or two of essential peppermint oil, also with the padded game board and put tic tac toe at the top in red fabric paint. Came out really pretty cool. gift for grandsons. used twine for drawstring with beads in red and green, glued the knots. THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING!! first drawstring bag! cotton has to be easier than denim. will try that next. <3Luannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05264447926083942546noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6561146385820548849.post-18954755506394746242018-11-08T13:59:41.739+10:002018-11-08T13:59:41.739+10:00so cute Jill.. may i have the size please. i want ...so cute Jill.. may i have the size please. i want to make it for my daughter. thxLeeyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14241457210961692300noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6561146385820548849.post-59990503519890371882018-08-15T21:05:35.187+10:002018-08-15T21:05:35.187+10:00Just curious. I wasn't too strict with the no sugar - didn't read labels and things - but then I don't each much processed food anyway so that probably didn't make that much difference. And I really didn't eat that much lettuce!!Emoji A friend introduced me to bliss balls and I'm amazed how good, sweet and chocolatey they taste - easy enough to cover the cravings I had. My daughters also like all my sugar free desserts (although they just eat them AS WELL AS the real chocolate stuff!!). I hope your motivation returns soon - at least it should be getting warmer over there for you! And - yes I know, the sickly sweet Creme Eggs aren't to everyone's taste....and who knows, maybe when I eat mine I won't like them anymore!!!

Jill Jillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04377276479172112517noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6561146385820548849.post-7182605542250447152018-05-15T02:28:26.785+10:002018-05-15T02:28:26.785+10:00My motivation comes and goes and I'm fine with...My motivation comes and goes and I'm fine with that, having nothing as BIG a goal as your sugar-free adventure. Major congrats, by the way, as well as Happy Birthday! I've never been a sugar fiend, but it would still be a difficult task to assess everything that I eat to see whether it contained sugar. Or not... I think maybe if we stayed away from processed foods that we would all eat a lot less sugar. Good on you for measuring your successes by factors other than mere numbers; we could all learn that lesson.Rochelle @ eSheep Designshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00873971744083672144noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6561146385820548849.post-16286418439040535202018-05-15T01:04:25.974+10:002018-05-15T01:04:25.974+10:00Happy birthday!! I'm having trouble going 9 hours without it... 9 minutes is ok though ;) I find that sugar is in everything so a no-sugar thing for me is just lettuce leaves. Clearly am wrong as you managed and I doubt you only had lettuce. As for motivation, I seem to have misplaced mine about a month ago and I can't find it anywhere. It'll turn up eventually I hope. Meanwhile, I'll just plod along. So well done and have a great day today!!! Oh yes, Cadbury cream eggs??? seriously?
