A Round Tuit 354

Happy Monday from Cairns!

Many of you may know that this year I've gone back to work teaching English after a long break being a Mum and doing casual work.
I've had less time with my blog, although am still managing to keep it up, but just now most of my creativity is going into teaching.

This week I combined one of my runs with some research of English reading opportunities near the school, where I can take my students out and about for a change from the classroom.
Down by the wharf I found these poles with stories written on!  I'm sure I can make use of those!

Of course this fits with my motto of..

Use What You've Got

That I'm still managing to apply to all aspects of life!!

So how about you? What have you all been up to this week?
Let's get this party started and find out!

Welcome to this week's linky party. A place where you can link up your posts and creations, and be inspired by others.

Tuits are very hard to come by, especially the round ones. For years people have been saying, "I'll do it as soon as I get a round tuit". Well now you can have one of your very own, and all those jobs that have needed doing will finally get done!
Here's my favourites from last week's party:
First of all, I couldn't resist showing this gorgeous crocheted
Loch Ness Monster from Doll Crochetka.

Next, I love this idea that's just a little bit different from Threading my Way - A Drawstring Pencil Case!

For those featured, feel free to grab a 'featured on' button here.
Creating my way to Success
Now it's your turn:
Link up your own projects - old or new - no rules - just share your creativity and inspiration!
I'd love if you grabbed the button - then you can have your very own Round Tuit!
And of course we all love visitors and comments so do visit some of the other links!
By linking up here you're giving me permission to use photos from your post in features here on my blog.
I will feature my favourites on this post next week.

And I'll also pin each feature to the Round Tuit Pinterest Board.

  1. It's so beautiful where you live! I hope you're enjoying being back at work. I'm feeling the pressure to go back once my baby starts school in September.

  2. Stories on poles - sounds like someone had a fun idea. I hope work is going well and you are juggling it all ok. Thanks for featuring my embroidered shirt, it's a lovely feeling to find your projects are liked by others.

  3. I like how you see your mantra (if it can be called that) everywhere you go. YOu are probably the coolest teacher they will ever have!

  4. Finally got another piece of furniture fixed and out - that was a long time before I got a Round Tuit. Thanks Jill.

  5. Thanks for featuring my pencil pouch, Jill. Glad you are enjoying being back at work.

  6. Thanks for the party! Have a great week and happy teaching!

  7. Thank you for the wonderful party! I appreciate you working so hard to share other bloggers content. I would love you to visit Thursday Favorite Things or The Recipe Sharing Party (Thursday) so I can return the favor! Have a great week. The more shares the bigger your audience!

  8. Thanks for the party, Jill and have a great weekend!

  9. Thanks to all for stopping by and linking up!

I love comments and try to respond to them all. Thanks for taking the time !
