Holiday snaps!

Ok - finally got some photos sorted to show you a little of our holiday last week up here in Far North Queensland, Australia.

We went into the Outback to see some lava tubes at Undara:

We also saw tons of wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies, wallaroos, birds and bats!

Then we went on to the Tablelands where we went to a cheese and chocolate factory (yummy!!) and our girls saw cows being milked for the first time!

Also on the tablelands we visited the Crystal Caves Museum and saw some amazing rocks and crystals!

The Tablelands are full of gorgeous waterfalls scattered throughout the rainforest!

And some very impressive Fig Trees:

Then the final trip downhill towards Cairns and home - beautiful views the whole way!

A really lovely relaxing holiday!
Hope you enjoyed this little snapshot of our beautiful corner of the World!

    1. Thanks Mich! Yes those fig trees are incredible - we have one in a pot at home that we were given - and told to never let it get out of the pot or it would take over!!! If it did ever escape at least we'd be growing a tourist attraction though!! :)

  2. Thanks for sharing your holiday pics, Jill. I'll have to venture inland when I visit Cairns.

    1. Yes - there's lots to see away from the reef here Pam, and nothing's too far away either!
